Unidentified wire in glove box
Hello CL, first-time poster here. My 2004 M3 recently blew its head gasket so I picked up a 2005 LS430 ML a a temporary commuter car. I was immediately blown away at its quality and comfort. Suffice to say that this thing is not going anywhere anytime soon.
I’m hoping that some of you who are more familiar with this chassis can help me out. The previous owner of this vehicle left a wire disconnected in the glove box, presumably to avoid having it fall and become inaccessible. I’m wondering what this wire is supposed to go to and why it’s disconnected. As far as I can tell, the only thing on this car that doesn’t work is the power outlet inside the center cubby (not the cigarette lighter next to the shifter). I have checked and replaced all 3 cig lighter/power outlet fuses, 2 on the driver side and one on the passenger side, to no avail. I’m thinking the unplugged wire might be related.
Attached some pictures. Any input would be appreciated. Cheers.

It doesn't look like a Lexus connector so probably for a Grom Vline or other Bluetooth adapter for the Audio system.
Many of those are fitted in the glovebox so as to give access to the various connectors on them.
I'm sure someone on here can confirm that as plenty have those adapters fitted.

Thank you for the quick response! That makes sense, I’ll look into which one this wire is for.
As for the power outlet in the center cubby not working, any idea what that could be? Both my cigarette lighters (the one next to the shifter and the one in the rear) work perfectly.
