bought car in March 2021 and was sure sub would be bad
bought sub from bell lexus in may 2021 for $467.48 as they said at time last one
had sub replaced, do you know that the back seat has to come out much labor $120
also did both front door speakers, those were about $150 each and $60 each to install.
sounded fine before and great now, door speakers had more damage than sub did

Cool story bro, I sold all my working factory speakers (just after I put new foam surround on the sub) for $25.

No I’m going to run a power wire from the battery back to the amp. I’m going to run the pre existing sub wires to the LOC and run RCA to the amp powering the sub. The LOC (Line Output Converter) you need one unless your changing head unit too. Anyways the LOC takes the input signal it receives from the stock wires and it then outputs that signal to the new amp and sub.

[QUOTE=FelixBabakuntos;11768381]Yes, please update as you go through it.
How would your subwoofer amplifier be powered? I assume you’d add breakouts to run the power wires from the ML amplifier to the new amplifier, thus wiring the two amplifiers in parallel?[/
