Default Sub install questions

sorry if there is a thread about this already i couldn't find anything in regards to my questions specifically this is my first sub install. i have 2006 modern luxury for reference
  1. i'm trying to tap a LOC into the rear sub wires but there's on one positive and one negative that ran to the oem connector but, my LOC has 4 wires 2 positive and 2 negative how would i go about wiring this?
  2. i want to run the remote wire from a fuse and seen a video where they simply wrap the exposed copper from their wire around a fuse vertically making contact with one side of the fuse and just pop it back into the box. is that an acceptable way to run a remote wire? it seem like a potential fire hazard?
  3. i'm looking to ground the amp to a bolt i found on the underneath the floor board on right side of the trunk. it appears to be holding the ML stock amp i believe im not entirely sure. it looks like a metal bracket

1: What LOC are you using? Do you have a link or pic?
2: At least get a “proper” fuse tap. Don’t just shove bare wire to a power source
3: ok

1. It seems you have a 2 channel LOC. The LS430 only has one subwoofer channel. You may be able to connect both of your LOCs channels to the single factory channel, as in all positives together and all negatives together. It would be better if your LOC was meant for single channel operation though, it may say if it is in the instructions. Or, if your aftermarket sub amp has the ability to run off of 1 channel input, then just use one channel of the LOC. Or, if your aftermarket subwoofer amp has line level inputs then you have no need for the LOC.
2. What JaySco said. Don't ever put a bare wire into anything other than a wire connector. Sure it may work, for a while, but we drive nice cars, we're better than that.
3. Probably fine. Most bolts that are 10mm or larger are ok for a grounding point, as long as you're not trying to run ten billion watts or something.
