Door speaker adapter rings
Is there any off-the-shelf product we can buy to mount standard 6.5 inch aftermarket speakers in our doors? I have a non-ML system.
Most install reports I've seen involve either 1) destructively cutting the factory speaker out from its bracket, or 2) custom fabrication.

When I bought my 6.5” from Crutchfield they came with adapter rings but they didn’t work on my car at all so in the trash they went. Mine had the ML system, not sure what the difference is for speaker mounting. I have some 1/8” abs laying around that I used on my sons GS, not too difficult to fabricate your own.
