Would appreciate your opinion on a good price on a used LS430 with under 20,000 miles on it? I know what the dealer wants. Also would be interested in what a new one would run. A friend of mine said he just purchased a 2004 for 52,000. Seemed low to me.

I just bought my 2001 LS430 Ultra on Tuesday. It is black. It has 36,000 miles. I paid $41,600. Just to give u an idea

Wow $52,000 seems to be a great price on a 2004. Being a relatively new release of the small redesign, I think most are going at MSRP at this point. Hell if they would give me that price and a fair trade for my 2003, I would go for it. Where did you friend buy his?

He's in Northern Virginia. Not a place where you would expect to get a deal. I agree with your comments. I also know that there is a lot of margin available and you can get a dealer considerably lower than one would expect. But $52,000! That seemed unbelievable to me. Funny thing is, he is a reliable source.

I paid $52,995 for a new White/Ecru 03 in December of 03, which included, Sunroof, Temp Control Seats, Chrome Wheels and Gold Package. So $52,000 seems darn good.

Well my dad got his 02 LS430 for 52,000 in late 02...the car was brand new from the dealer...

Lexus of Riverside CA called me yesterday and gave me a quote of a 04 Modern Luxury for $57,237. I haven't negotiated for the price yet and they have been calling me at least once a month
