Anyone buy from JMLexus?
I'm looking at buying a LS 430 from them. I had settled on a price of $5K off MSRP and now they are talking about a $600 processing fee. Sounds kind of shaky to me.

Are u talking about Jmlexus in Florida??
There are processing fees...But just to let you know they mark up their cars about 8-9k on msrp...A freind of mine just purchased a 2004 LS so i looked over the paperwork when he was buying....

Yes, I am talking about JM Lexus in Florida. The salesman agreed to sale me a 2004 LS 430 with a Modern Luxury package (MSRP $61,939 for $56,939. This deal has been on the table since mid November. I thought I could get a good deal in December from my local dealer. That didn't materialize and I've been waiting for the right color combination. The car is on the way in and he says lets deal but now he mentions a a $600 processing fee.
Not as good a deal with the $600 processing fee, but it still is better than anything else I can get.

The GS300 that I purchased had a $220 processing fee. The Lexus dealership took care of getting license plates, insurance and title for us. They initially charged this fee to cover these costs (plus some profit for them). They ended up eating the charge when I expressed concern.
I don't have real numbers in front of me, but it seems as though they are making $1000 over invoice on your deal. This isn't a bad deal, but isn't great either. Tell them that you'll take care of getting the license plates, title, and insurance yourself, and that you want them to remove the fee. If they balk, and if you can live without the car, thank them for their time, and tell them you're looking elsewhere. They'll probably cave on the charge.

I've purchased 4 vehicles from JM Lexus in the past 3 years and have been quite happy with the experience each time. I traded in my '03 SC430 for an '03 GS300 in September and was extremely happy with the deal and the sales process. FYI, I actually live 2 miles from Lexus of Pembroke Pines, but I drive 30 miles to JM Lexus for sales and service because I've been treated so much better there. I would highly recommend them.

BTW. It seems as if Carsdirect.com's invoice price is wrong. Invoice on the base LS is 47K+. At $56k, the dealer is making a decent profit. I'm hearing deals at $500 - $1000 over invoice.

I did my lease thru JM Lexus and was very happy. But I was also personal friends with the salesman.
Sean, my friend, is now down at Lexus of Pembroke Pines and I would suggest seeing him and telling him that Ed (White Tiger) sent you.
If you want his full name and number I can e-mail it to you. My e-mail address is white.tigert56@juno.com

We deal with Matt Benahoo(sp?) at JM Lexus...He gives us a NEW lexus for lease religiously every year or less. Look at my signature, he got my mother 3 LS's in a 2 year period, allowed us to get rid of the 04 RX for a GX after a few months because my sister wanted something different, offered me a new GS if I wanted but I declined since i like GGP color of the GS...He was already working on figuring out how to get me a new Gen3 GS when it first arrives before my lease expires.

I've never have paid such fees before...im actually considering taking my deposit back on the car.
Has anyone ever gotten got dealer fees waived? And..what are u actually paying the 700 for? dealer fees exactly what is it?

Hi,
I got my 06'LS430 with modern lux pkg for $56K out of door. More than 1 dealer had offered me this price. Just for your reference. (51K plus tax & license)

Welcome Aska.
It's not too apparent, but these prices in this thread are from 2004 (it's an old thread that was bumped)
