Need List of Voice Commands
#16
good to hear (well, not good from the technology perspective), I thought of similar things.
I have problem setting temperature at 70 degress, doesn't matter how I pronounce, with several people trying also, it always set it at 78 degree? I am wondering if that is a system error? also, what can you do about it?

RELIABLE
"POI OFF"
"ZOOM IN"
"ZOOM OUT"
"REPLACE DESTINATION"
"ADD TO DESTINATION"
"MARK THIS PLACE"
"STOP GUIDANCE"
Annoyingly, the one I would use almost all the time - "GO HOME" - is notoriously unreliable. It mistakes it for "BANK", "GOLF COURSE", "CD CHANGE" and a variety of other random stuff.
Anyone else have similar trouble?
Additionally the command "GO HOME" is described as "HOME" and as "GO HOME" in different Help sections ("GO HOME" appears to be the correct phrase).
I find the speech recognition to be pretty poor and the one area of the 2004 LS430 that is a disappointment.
I wonder if they can upgrade this at a later point?
Anyone find any workarounds?

hey franz
there was nothing better than my HARDWIRED phone in my 02.
I now have an 05..and bluetooth is the most unreliable pain.
I had a sprint phone hardwired to my car (the phone even said Lexus on it), the phone sat in a dock in the center console, I never saw it. The quality was excellent. There was nothing "wireless" to mess up.
All this wireless/bluetooth stuff is still in beta mode in my opinion. We're just all consumers paying to test out everyones new latest and greatest product.
Thank you.
