Does anyone know when the '05 LS430 goes on sale and when will the dealers start accepting orders? Since the '04 had styling revisions plus the addition of the 6 speed transmission, will there be any changes to the '05? Also, when a customer orders a car, does it come out of the dealer's allocation? What is the timeframe from ordering from the factory to delivery?

Their info is often not reliable though.They had said that the 04 LS430 will be a total redesign.

Not from the articles & pictures I saw last September. I was about to order the new 5 series BMW and saw the newly freshened LS on Autospies.com...

I imagine only additional color choices and maybe wheel changes will be made to the '05 LS, since a new design is coming for '06 or '07...

I asked my salesman who said he wasn't sure when the '05's would show up at the dealer, nor at what date I could place an order. He just said that usually the new models come out late Sept. to late Oct. He said he would check for me.

05/06 will have no major changes. Maybe a new color. The all new LS comes in 07 as the LS continues its 6 year full redesign theme.
89-94 LS 1st gen with 1993 freshning
95-00 LS 2nd gen with 1998 freshning
01-06 LS 3rd gen with 04 freshning.

Yes, but they said it'll be a redesign before that, so you still can't always trust what they say.
