Loweering a 2003 LS430 Ultra
Hello Everyone,
I have a 2003 LS430 Ultra in Black with air suspension. I am looking to move up to 18in tires with probably Lowenhart LD1 in chrome, but I am open to any suggestions. Anyway I have 3 questions if you could so kindly assist me with:
1) What is the best 18in tire to go with? I have 17's and enjoy that comfortable ride and would not like to loose it
2) Will I have to lower my car? If so, what is involved. Also will it cause problems with the air suspension?
3) Would Wald Executive Line Kit

be a nice fit for my car. I am not looking for anything to bold just subtle.
Thank you for any assistance that you can provide

Normally, when you change wheel sizes, you also change the profile of the tire you put on the new wheel, so that the rolling diameter of the new wheel/tire combo matches the rolling diameter of the old wheel/tire. This is useful because this means that your speedometer will still be accurate, and the nav system will still correctly compute distances based on wheel rotation.
Since the new tire/wheel combo is the same size as the old tire/wheel combo, there is no need to change the vehicle height unless you just want to change the height.
