I recently noticed some strange sloshy liquid noise coming from either under the front passenger seat or in the front of it (like behind the glove box) of my 2003 LS430. I hear it in the morning when I first start the car and then during stop-and-go's during the following 15 minutes. Anyone have the similar experince and any idea what it could be?

In most cars that is where the heater core is located (firewall in front of glove box). You might want to check your coolant level, it might cause a sloshing noise if it is low. But if you have a separate temperature gauge you might notice the temp running a little different than normal if that was the case.
Do you have a burnt varnish type smell? If you do you might have a leak.
(just throwing out some guesses for you to check).
Of course, before you check that I would remove the beer from the glovebox.....

Thanks for the suggestion. But, I have a question that I'm embarrased to ask: where is the coolant reservoir cap located? I didn't it see when I took a quick peek under the hood. I stopped doing my own maintenance a few years ago and haven't worked my LS at all. Everything is covered up with vanity platic covers; it is under one of them?

Usually I associate that sort of noise with a buildup of liquid condensation (water or icy slush) inside the vent system. This comes about if you've been running the AC and the drain hole(s) are plugged up. I don't actually know where the drains are in your car (or mine for that matter).
