Angry LS 430 Questions

I took my wife's '04 LS 430 in for the 1,000 mile check up today. I had posted a question earlier on the forum about wind noise and it seemed that nobody else had experienced the same condition. The car is perfectly quiet under 50 MPH. However at speeds in excess of this, there is significant turbulance from the passenger side. In fact today on the way to the dealership I even picked up a whistle from that side. We'll see what they do but I am not too hopeful since I am having more problems than I should with the service on my '04 SC 430.

Another question on the LS; the lights that are located on the underside of the outside mirrors, how and under what conditions do they illuminate? Mine seem to just be there and do not light up when the doors are opened with the headlights on or off. Am I missing something or is there a switch or setting somewhere on the car?

Thanks,

I have an '04 LS430 and if I'm not mistaken, the "Puddle Lights" on the mirrors illuminate when approaching the car with the Smart Key or when using the remote unlock button on the key fob. I'm not sure if they light up only when it's dark enough for the auto headlights to come on or not. I don't think there is a switch to turn them on/off. Good luck having your wind noise taken care of. I have not noticed any unusual wind noise in mine at highway speeds.
