Treo 650 Not Compatible w/ LS430
I purchased the new PalmOne Treo 650 Smartphone. It is an awesome device, but it will not pair with the Bluetooth in the 2004 LS430. PalmOne finally admitted that it does not fully support HFP and OPP.

Did you see if that phone was supported on the lexus.letstalk.com website? That is the site the Lexus customer service folks will guide you to. They post the phones and services that are compatible with your car. I just got a Sony T637 with Cingular and the Bluetooth works great. My entire phonebook transfers in about 10 seconds. So far, so good. Good luck!!

I paired the Treo 650 GSM (Unlocked) with my LS430 (2004) BT.
Pairing works - ir required making a phone call from the Treo to complete pairing as the BT in car was waiting. Switching the call between Car BT and Treo worked fine - switching back does not work (works great with Sony Phones).
Things that do not work:
1) Signal strenght does not displays on the car
2) Incoming call does not ring in Car
3) Sending full phonebook to the car
Compared to other phones:
Call in Car unit is faster with Treo than with with a Motorola Razr
But it works
