Hello 4LG!

Dealers cant stock these discs, you'll need to have your dealer order it ahead of time for your vehicle. The ordering process is VIN# specific. Can get the disc in about 3 days tho...

It really isnt a Free Nav upgrade, its a Recall (dont freak) to correct some bad info on the Nav DVD for '04 and early '05 Gen4 Nav units.

Dealer installed the new disc while my wife was picking up her new RX330. Previous post is correct - they called me about three days after my 1,000 mile checkup and said the disc they ordered was in. Everything with Nav is running smoothly so far. My house appears to be in the same place. Amazing!!

OMG, is this real? I've read soooooo many posts about how much better the pre-2004 nav was. I hope that they simply reach the previous level. Thanks for the post!

Yeah, it was an error in DVD software from whoever wrote them. I beliive Nav Techj or the new company that do the mapping and software for the gen 4th DVD.

Hey, at least you got a free new version of DVD and a free full tank of gas with car wash.

I got my LS in June of this year. My VIN # falls in the range for an upgrade. My question is: when should I upgrade? Now or when next year's nav update comes out?
