My car was just tinted this Monday with Solargard HP charcoal 13 all around. It is metalic tint and so far it hasn't affected the navi yet. Good stuff.

i got my car tinted all around with metallic film "V kool" in middle east , not sure if this product avaiable elswhere, it is a clear file, you can see , but they say reflects 98% UV and rejects all heat but the GPS reception went off competely and i got the check icon indiactor in the dashborad appearing all time.
the gps receiver on the screen came on and off then gone off completely
any one know where the GPS antena is , i may go and cut a window for it without removing the metallic film completely

i am getting cell phone reception, but the dash borad check icon is worrying me. the GPS reception went off comletely,, i opened all windows and sunroof but didnot see anything working in GPS,,,i dribed the car 2 hours today but did not notice anything wrong apart from long starting time some times

i tried but could not find it
