Ahhh I saw that piece of ***** (or a copy of it) last Friday! I was driving down the Turnpike through NW Broward when I passed it. Coincidentally, I was heading back to Fort Lauderdale on my maiden voyage in my 2002 LS430 UL that I just bought from a Benz dealership in Fort Pierce. I shoulda snapped a cellphone pic, man that car looked terrible. Sure enough, old fart driving it. Gotta take my UL in to JM Friday to have the radio checked out since its not working, I posted a thread but no luck. I have to get my windows tinted too, can anyone recommend a good tint place near downtown Fort Lauderdale?

I emailed JM about a used LS430 they had listed (they don't put price's on many of them)and they didn not even bother to email me back.Hard to figure they do much sales over the internet if thats how they handle leads.Pretty much wrote them off as stay away dealer like a couple others that I have seen. There seems to be several Lexus ones who put up low mile cars that are "misspriced in the ad" ,"no longer available" or mileage is higher than they posted (one went from "only 20,000 miles" to actual 28,898 after several attemps to get a straight answer). Not the way to do business long distance !

Being a victim of having an engineering education I am always puzzled why people insist on taking what are incredibly well thought out, engineered and tested vehicles and essentially vandalizing them w/ idiotic shadetree body, suspension and wheel/tire mods. It's designed to be what it is! Why just stewart the vehicle in pristine condition and reallocate those $$ into a replacement vehicle when the dissatisfaction is intolerable (is that possible w/ an LS430) ?
I'm sure this one brings a tear to the eye of some asian engineer who put his heart into the aerodynamic modeling..
cheers

Anyone involved, directly or indirectly with that travesty should be hunted down and from behind, a firm open handed smack up side the head should be administered.
Repeatedly for up to a month. Then they should be banished to the oil change "dungeon," for the remainder of their automotive career. With little chance of committing such offense's ever again. and the car should remain as bait for those that even look upon it with any sort of admiration or desire. and they should get smacked up side the head as well...

What a precious child. Her picture makes up for the ugly car she is standing with. Isn't it amazing how our brains are wired so different? People do and buy such crazy things. I would not want this car at any price, but someone somewhere would think it's handsome,,,,I guess.
