Default Warranty Question To The Veterans...

First Off, Im New To This Site And Its Also My First Post,great Place To Check You Lexusfreaks Got Here.....i Got A 02 Ls430ultra With 43,xxx Miles And I Was Wonderin If Anyone Here Knew Of Anything I Should Check Up On Or Do Before The Cars 50,000 Mile Warrnty Hits?i Dont See Anything Worng With The Car, This Maybe A Dumb Question But Any Insight Would Be Awesome,thanks......agaiin Cool Club(lexus) To Hangin

Have you done the 45K mile service? It shouldn't be too much and the Lexus tech will check the car out as part of the service.

If there is anything wrong they will certainly bring it to your attention. Lexus pays their hourly rate just like you would if it was already off warranty.

thx, bear with me this is my first lex that is within warranty mileage,it is at 43 and change and no i didnt do the 45 yet,actually i didnt know about that,and what do you mean by lexus picking up the hourly rate...they assume that cost?......sheesh man this is complicated ill just goto my mechanic and pay whatever,lol

Yes, Lexus will pay the technician to fix anything covered by warranty. I think the techs get paid by how many hours they work or bill, so the tech has some incentive to check the car over completely.

Now you will have to pay for the service, but the warranty will cover anything wrong otherwise.
