Ok i went to pepboys and got the tip. First i must say putting this on was a pain in the you know what. Just make sure you have a pair of plyers to bend things.
Here are some links to my install...NOTE i used my treo650 camera to take these...

So are you happy with them? They were a pain to put on. I didn't need pliers, just a screw driver and tried hard not to strip the screws for the clamp and screws underneath the tips. The hardest part was sliding the chrome tips over the clamp and lining up the holes. You can't beat the price and they don't look cheap or ricey IMO. Just wipe them down every time you wash the car to keep up the chrome finish. I've had mine for 2 months now and thru a harsh winter they still look good with no rust at all.

Yep. You will need a plier to bend/reshape the clamps. Also you will need to press the chrome tip down alittle bit so it will slide in easily. Another thing i did with the pliers was to bend the outer tip of the exhaust in a little so the clamps will slide in easily and allow screwing. Everyone will have different way of installing this.

BTW, you might find out that some pepboys will have only one tip on the shelf so ask them to check through their db to see what other stores have it .

Put same tips on and I'll assure that you'll need some patience putting them on. But once you put the first tip on, the second one is easy. I used a small vise grip instead of pliers to press the sides of the clamp together then tighten the screws. Since my local Pepboys didn't have the tips, I bought them thru their website. Much cheaper at about $15/pair with free shipping. Tips look good from the back, can't tell its angled down. But when you bend over and look from the side, its angled down about 10 degrees Might do some more adjustments.

Yep, it was a pain doing the first one. I will hopefully this summer try and adjust that angle issue....if you have any hints please let me know. Thanks.

I used the bigger tips hence I had to cut the bumper a bit to fit. Adjusting these tips ain't easy as it takes many many attempts. You might want to point down the tips a bit or you'll see all the clamps inside but if you down them too much, they look ugly when looking from the sides of the car. I will post pictures hopefully later on this week.

OK, here goes the picture before the tail light changed, pipes didn't line up very well.

Looks good!

Kinda adds a bit more aggressive tone to the rear end of the whip.

I posted a couple of pics of the exhaust I built for my '03 in the thread linked below. IMO, the outlets/tips look better than the '04-up because they look more purposeful (in person, at least... not sure how they come through on the photos for someone who hasn't seen 'em) vs. the slightly ricey look of the '04-up tips which are obviously just tips clamped over a smaller pipe. They don't look tacked-on at all to me, which is the objection that I think I'd have if I used straight aftermarket tips clamped on to the factory muffler outlets, and then exiting at a slightly downward angle in order to clear the partial cutout that the '01-'02 cars have.

Re: the stock '04-up tips, I don't like the way you can see the smaller pipe showing on the inside of the tip.

But of course all this is just a matter of opinions.
