Default Yet another Bluetooth question

Hi. We got a 2005 LS 430 Modern Lux a few weeks ago and we're trying to pick a BT phone to work with it. My other car is a 2005 Acura RL. I bought a Motorola MPx220 (Cingular) and it pairs with the RL and works great. When I got home, I tried pairing it with the LS. The pairing works fine but then the LS complains that the phone is out of range and won't do anything with it.

Anyone have a MPX220 working with the LS?

Where do you keep the phone? Supposedly other phone models have been placed anywhere, as far as in the back seat, and still work with the Bluetooth system. With our car the phone is either in the driver's door slot or in the 'cell phone cubby' under the CD changer.

The MPx220, that's the Smart Phone right? It should have good Bluetooth signal and battery life?

Hey Lensman...

I can't help you with the BT issue, but I noticed you mentioned you own a 2005 RL. I'd be interested in hearing a review on this car if you have it posted on an Acura forum somewhere. Is the nav really as impressive as it seems? What's the most impressive thing about the car? Finally, is this Honda worth the $50K?
