Default Just got a LS430, one question.

Where is the 11 speakers? I only count 9

1 - sub
4 - in rear
4 - in front
----
9

Where's the other two?

So far I am really liking the car.

Thanks,
Bennett

LOL I was wondering about these as well when I checked Mark Levinson-Lexus.com and it explains how there is 2 in 1 for some.

I think it needs bass badly, it does high notes nice, but it kinda sucks for low bass.

someone said before that the older ml system only has 8" sub, maybe that's why the weak bass. the new 3gs they have the 10" sub, that's much nicer, i notice stronger base as well

Would swapping that 8" out for a aftermarket speaker make an improvement? or would it need an amp too?

Thanks,
Bennett

i am not 100%, but i think the sub is separately driven on the ml (just a wild guess). if so, i think it's capable to drive a better sub. so changing to a good sub imho should help

and in due time i wanna upgrade the sub on my sc430 to 10" as well, so we will see
