demo mode for nav

I saw a salesperson give me a demo of the nav system on a gs430 3 years ago by pressing a button or 2 on the display or console. is this something that can be replicated on the ls 430?

I had no idea of a demo button, although a programmed route can be viewed in advance, with animation and everything (Route Preview)...was the demo of POI's or of actual trip navigation?
