With all of the people wanting clear tail lights and worrying about led's burning out, has anyone else tried opening up the oem tail lights and removing the amber strip like FBburn talked about in post #24?

I've had these on my 01 LS for about 3 years now and no problems at all. Got them off eBay when they were available and am VERY happy with them.
