Default New LS's to come.

Anybody hear about the upcoming LS models? Now this is rumor but it did have some creditability behind it. LS will have a hybrid. I heard they are coming out with a wagon version and also a 600 HP super exotic version. Bye Bye AMG~ Maybe you have already heard about these but it caught me off guard when I heard it. Who knows maybe it is all just rumors~ ooooooo

Hmm a wagon LS...interesting but highly unlikely since not even one competitor has ever offered their flagship sedans in wagon form. A GS AWD wagon would've been nice though.

Can you elaborate on what your source "with some creditability (sic) behind it" is?

BTW, nice avatar. Now that's something Lexus should really offer.

Thumbs up

Yeah the idea of a wagon made me snicker a bit but I thought maybe that was because there might have been a market that Lexus hadn't tackled yet. LOL I personally hope they don't. My source was a 10 year mechanic for Lexus here in Oregon. While I was test driving with him on my old GS he was telling me quite a few things but those two were the ones that stood out for me. I am definitely excited to see what they are going to do with the LS in the next couple of years. The Flagship kind of needs to catch up as far as Lexus makeovers have been going. If Lexus goes with the L-Finesse it is going to be a very hot car.

They are saving the best for last....

No GS wagon please neither, did you see 1Sick's PS of one ? Just look at what an abomination (IMO) the E class wagon looks like
Actually, it's much better if they just produce the HP-X concept which is supposed to be GS-based & with 3 rows of seats. I saw it in the Autoshow & it looks cool

To better help clear things up, this was from Road and Track.

I don't see how this helps clear things up at all. The R&T article speculates 500hp for the hybrid LS rather than the 600hp you posted. It also has no mention of a wagon.

I do hope your Lexus mechanic friend knows what he was talking about though.

An LS Wagon, now that's a joke right there man! Let's not do the Volvo thing...Although they do look nice...but that's beside the point, no one wants a wagon, and I have no idea what made Chrysler Corp. make that ugly Magnum. The Charger and 300C are also very strange. Talk about small windows. I took a ride in the back of a Hemi Magnum, and it may have pep, but it looks like you're in jail if you are in the back.

The A6 Avant on the other hand looks like a natural. Audi's simply good at making good-looking wagon IMO.

Yeah, Audi has a way with wagons. I have always liked their styling...but not their reliability.

I was in Tokyo last month and went to toyota showroom. After I sat in the Majesta, I just love it... toyota should just put a L on it and sell them here and I will be the first one in line!!!
It is a car between GS and LS!!!
