Anybody using Razr cell phone with their Bluetooth LS?
I have the Sony T637 now and it works perfectly with my 05 LS430 bluetooth. I am thinking about switching to the Moto Razr phone from Cingular. Anybody using this phone currently, and are you having any trouble?
Thanks-
Thanks-

BigD - Make sure you leave the phone book on the car memory that you likely transferred from the Sony. I had the same Sony and now have a blackberry and I can use the stored numbers in the car left over from the sony.
Most other phones don't let you transfer the whole book at once anyway.

Works fine with a few niggles
1. I can't transfer the whole phone book.
2. Even transferring one at a time, you can't transfer a number with pauses in it. Makes retreiving/controlling impossible from the Lexus.
3. Ah you say, just do it from the phone for those numbers....mostly that works ok but when dialing from the phone there's a considerable delay before the call is transferred into handsfree. If its a person, they may hang up.
Love my lexus but the bt implementation isn't up to their standard. Would I use anything else? No..

Download Phonebook on Verizon or ALLTEL?
I have been unable to find any BT phone that works on a non-GSM network. In our area of North Carolina that apparently means I need to go with Cingular or I won't be able to download the names and phone number from my cell.
Anyone have experience that might help to locate something that will work on a CDMA network such as Verizon, etc..
Thanks in advance,
Bill

NO My phonebook was already in the car. I had a Nokia 6310i previously, but it would not load the entire phonebook at one time--had to do it one number at a time when the car was new.

I have been using my razr in 05 RX (same navigation system as your LS).
By the way, it is a GREAT phone besides its hype. Great reception, easy to use, neat features. Also works really really well in Europe if you ever need it.
I recommend it. I always get one more bar with the Razr than my wife with a cheap phone on Cingular. The phone makes a big difference.
