Default Exhaust Options?

Besides Blitz, who else makes an exhaust for the LS?

I am thinking of going with the HKS Universal Ti Hi-Power

What do you guys think? I REALLY don't like the factory mufflers and I want a deeper sound to the V8....

Personally, I don't think those types of exhausts match well with bigger body luxury sedans (especially if you don't have a kit to cover up the cylinder shaped mufflers), they belong more on sportier cars (i.e. 350Z, evo's, subi's, etc.). I would look into something that's more of an oval muffler that looks similar to the stock ones, but with larger and/or different tips. You could always go with a universal muffler from Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Borla, or look into VIP mags for Japanese companies that make exhausts for your LS (JP, Wald, Anceltion, etc.).

I agree. Those are ideal for a Supra, and POSSIBLY an SC-300/400, but not an LS.

FWIW, I'm preparing to build an exhaust for my LS430. At this point I plan to use Magnaflow ovals, but I might find something better (I'd rather have something from Japan if possible ). I'm going to use 3.5" outlets, and turn them down at about a 45 degree angle via the cut-and-weld Japanese style bends (I have mandrel-bent 3.5" ss, but I don't think that will acheive the look I'm after).

Typical rice burner look that is seen on Honda civics and Corollas. Put than on and it takes away from the classy look.

I've always loves the 2001-02 S55 rear look with it's wide oval dual exhaust. The new LS seems to have ripped of the styling from it, especially the wheels!!

i think the dual exhaust on the s600 and previous yrs s55 are a bit boring. the setup on the newer (supercharged version) s55 look so much nicer

The Junction Produce exhausts are very nice.....or u can get Fabulous, Fujitsubo, Wise Sports....etc. It all depends on how much u want to spend. Those JDM VIP exhausts will run u about $1400...which I think is not that much.
