Nav Hack
Hallelulleh! I am now able to do what I could on my Bmw as a normal operation.
(MY LS has been perfect so far which can not be said for my BMW's). Now, can someone tell me what the individual menu items do when you "break" int the nav programming? I am very curious about some of the available adjustments. I am tooooo chicken to experiment.

2004 Nav Override
This does not work on DVD Ver 6.1 on 2004 LS430 or 2004 RX-330. The Service screen does not come up. Looks like the only viable solution is to cut the nav wires are previously described. Bummer.

What will work for an 06 model? I think the software version is 05.1 or something like that. Is this data too old and do I need to spend all that money to get the newest version? I also want to get the stuff that gives you a line level audio input so my GPS/MP3 player can work with the car.
Thanks.
David
Thanks.
