I'm getting ready to plunk down my hard earned cash for a LS 430 2001 with 48k miles.
What should I expect ,what should I look out for with my new purchase any suggestions ?

Expect that the Navigation disc is not updated .I believe version (3.4?) is coming out soon?
That is of course if you have navigation.

Touch screen controls and navigation is MANDATORY. If this car doesn't have it, find one that does.

I've had my 2001 for a year. I have spent so far approx $5000 so far getting the car right

Another thing to expect is that after you put a few miles on it, every other vehicle just feels like a crude way of travel. Prepared to get SPOILED.
