Default Daylight Savings time?

My clock didn't adjust for Daylight savings time? I thought NAV equiped cars would automatically adjust to the correct time? Anyone else notice this?

Under options on the menu there is an icon for daylight savings time----- yes or no. My wife's adjusted correctly.

DD - I noticed the same thing - and I had mine set to observe daylight savings time. I went in and set the daylight savings time to NO and it instantly changed back to the correct time. I too was under the impression the GPS could "recognize" this change. Small inconvenience.

What's with all these words getting the double underscore hotlinks in all the posts now? Is there a way to shut that off?

Yes, Neo - You ARE the one!

Thanks! I too thought it was something my laptop had picked up during it's travels.

Thank you. I made the change and it works as designed now

guys-

I am still not sure here- when I selected "OFF" on daylight saving, it will properly show the correct time; isn't this counterintuitive??

No, its not. Not all States follow DST, so you have the option of turning it off and on. Next year, DST will be pushed back 2 weeks or so, so be glad your LS didnt change when it was supposed too, otherwise you would have some issues next year.

Sorry to be obtuse, but does the LS change automatically or not?

I changed the clock settings on Saturday in the clock menu, just as I was changing the clocks all over the house and my watch. I didn't get a chance to see if the clock would change automatically, although a friend said his Acura TSX changed on its own.

I thought when I selected "Auto", it would automatically adjust to DST. Guess not.

So it doesn't change...you just change it yourself then. OK!

Although the manual says 'clock can be set manually or by using signals from your GPS'

Question Daylight Savings Time Adjustment

I noticed it also. I live in NJ and mine didn't adjust automatically. I also read in the manual that the GPS Nav feature should take care of it. However I had to shut the DST option off to manually correct the time (push back an hr) but after I corrected it and then turned on the DST option the clock jumped ahead an hour. I then turned off the option. It appears not to work correctly.
My 5k maint. is coming soon and I plan to ask the dealer.

Default The Daylight Savings Time switch...

needs to be turned off. The time is automatically set for your time in your timezone but not for Daylight Savings, hence the switch. Any more questions about your LS?
