Does anyone have any experience with that intake or any other for the LS430? I need to know if this type of mod is just a waste of money. I can get the Injen one for $200.

Does it improve performance? I'm assuming it'll make a more aggressive sound which is what I am also looking for also.

 

if you want the sound, it's ok for the month

if you want more power, it's a waste of money. just an intake won't really take you anywhere, you probably won't feel anything

 

yup, I agree with Rominl.
I have injen intake with heat shield in my SC430, I think it fits 2001 or 2002+ LS430 as well.
My car doesn't run faster at least I can't tell the difference, but it surely roars a lot.
The mechanic said my Lexus now sounds like an Infiniti.

 

I have been wondering the same thing. I called Injen they can't tell me for sure if their intakes fits my 05.

But I am sure the intake sounds coo but wont gain anything....

 

did you end up getting it installed?? any reviews?
