I've had a long-standing problem with the low tire pressure warning light in my 2004 LS430. Over the past year, the low tire pressure warning goes off on a regular basis even though the tires are all at the correct 32lbs pressure. I reset the warning light and it comes back on within a month or so. Tried raising the tire pressure but that didn't help. Recently it started turning on with increasing frequency. It got so bad that it would turn back on within a few miles of being reset, and then finally it wouldn't even reset any more (it was on constantly) and so I took it to the dealer. After the usual B.S. runaround where they insisted there were no service bulletins for the problem their Lexus rep eventually confirmed there was a service bulletin TG003-04 for the problem which specifies that the ABS actuators be replaced. I had the service last week and so far the low tire pressure warning has stayed off. At the service, I saw the dealer's printout of the service bulletin, it was exactly as koolaid describes.

LS 430 2006 - Low pressure lite came on after replacing front right flat tire with the trunk spare. Pressure was spec. Had to drive to the dealer to get that darned low pressure lite turned off. Hope they fix this problem in 2007 models. OK if dealer is close but to drive 50 miles just to fix that problem is the pits.

Another heads up - Don't ever hit a curb with those $275 Dunlop tires. The sidewalls are weak and will tear.
