Tire Pressure Monitor Warning light

Tire Pressure Monitor Warning light
The tire pressure light came on in my wife's LS430 (2004). I inflated the tires to the proper pressure and tried to find the reset switch. In the owners manual it shows the swich on the dash under the ignition. All that I have is a blank out panel where a switch should be. Any help for a frustrated soul. :uh
Thanks
Thanks

Are you serious or joking
I can't tell if you guys are serious or joking. I've had the "tire pressure" warning light issue for over a year. They "fixed" it in January (I am not sure what they did) and it was fine until the weather got cold again in early December...now it's back. Is the TSB for a hard part repair (thus the $2000 expense that someone referred to) or is it just some minor software improvement? In other words, exactly what do I insist that my dealer does this time? And what were you talking about $1700 repair? HUH?

and they dont program. if u can get a hold of the tsb it says
air tires to 33psi front 32 rear. initalize low tire warning pressure sensors. then drive if it comes back replace the brake acuatior

I am not "worried', it's just unclear to me from how you write what is going on. Is there something DIFFERENT to do than what they did last January (which, I believe, was to replace the sensors in the wheels)? And if there is, is it something recently discovered or is it something they should have done back then? When I take it back in, what do I insist they do this time so it doesn't happen again?

Daryll40,
When I had the problem about a year ago, my dealership told me they replaced a small computer that is tied to the tire pressure system. I didn't ask too many questions because they replaced it under warranty so I didn't care as long as it solved the problem, but I could call them and get more information on it. The problem has not come back.

Some Follow Up
OK, it's been about 2 months since my "TIRE PRESSURE" light came on. The dealer told me that there is some TSB saying to put in 34 pounds of pressure, NOT 32 as per the sticker on the car. I figured that was just dealer BS. But, to my surprise, I've had 34 lbs since December and the light has not come back on. So perhaps the "fix" to this "problem" is merely an adjustment to tire pressure.
I guess it's OK to believe the dealer occasionally!
