Bluetooth phone offered by Verizon. There were different versions of the firmware that improved compatibility. If possible you should have Verizon update it to the latest version. Pairing is pretty simple.
On the LS430 go to the telephone screen, settings and scroll down 2 pages and hit the add phone on screen switch.
On the phone from the menu go to the tools and scroll down to Connections and you will enter the Bluetooth menu. First go down to setup and turn on the Bluetooth. Then go back up to "Handsfree" and search for devices. This should only take about 20-30 seconds and it will find handsfree. Click on Handsfree and ask to connect after it will want you to enter the passkey. The factory passkey is 1212 unless you have customized it to your own 4 digit number. Enter that into the V710's keypad and wait to see the phones' ID confirmed on the Nav screen and your done.
Now everytime you start the car will look for this phone and try to connect. A little banner will flash on the screen that says "Bluetooth connection successful". Inorder to dial on the Nav screen the car must not be moving. The answer switch to the left of the steering wheel is next to the voice command switch. You want to be able to find and push this switch whenever a call comes in inorder to answer or hang up. It also pulls up the telephone screen in one push vs. going through the INFO button and the Telephone button on the Nav screen.
Other issues are that if you have the older firmware the phone will not have a ringing sound. Verizon in their wisdom disabled the phone's ability to transfer the phone book to the car's phone book so that important feature is not available. The phone itself has a camera and good performance.
Tell us how it went...

Sorry to bring up an old post but today I tried pairing my Motorola Razr with the Lex and I went through all the steps and the phone was found. But then when I click on handsfree on my phone it never goes to the next step of entering in the pass key. Is this a problem with my phone or the car?

Did you following the pairing instructions for your specific car and model year, the exact model of the Moto Razr you have and for the carrier that provided your phone?
I just checked and saw that the pairing instructions are different for the same Razr model from different carriers.
The following webpage will lead you to pairing and usage instructions: http://www.lexus.com/models/LS/acces...bluetooth.html
