I don't know how you managed it, but that is a crazy good deal. The Acura shows on KBB to be worth about $11-$12K on trade-in, so if you got the LS430 for $15000 to boot, out the door.... I'd think that sales guy would be getting fired for making that kind of deal, even if you WERE threatening to drive away in your Acura. Congratulations to you.

Along with the fact that this was the oldest LS430 on their lot. And, they called the Acura dealer while I sat there and must have received a good offer for my trade in.
Also, I got the keys to my Acura and tried to leave twice. I always tell the salesman when he takes my offer to the boss, that they have a maximum of 5 minutes to get the answer and get back to me. The last time the sales manager ran out to catch me while I was getting into the Acura and asked for 10 more minutes while he called the Acura dealer.
(My sister worked for a Ford dealer in El Paso for 20 years and she taught me some of the tricks. I usually drive the sales people a little crazy. I do Not wait on them and am ready to leave when I get tired of their little games. This deal took at most 35 - 40 minutes. I told the salesman in the begining that I would be gone within one hour with or with out the Lexus.)

Any way here are the details. They gave me $16000 for my Acura, I put down $7500 & financed $7500, for a total of $31000. That includes TTL.
With that little financed, I will have it paid off by July.

Default I don't Know!

It was the sales manager that did the final deal. I do not understand it, but I am not complaining. I did a car fax on the LS430 and all looks OK.
My mechanic (A neighbor and close friend) looked it over and cannot find anything wrong with it.

Default The Color

It was a trial to find the color code on my 2004 LS430. I never did find the color plate.
The dealer service dept says that it is color code 6T7. They say that is olive. But, when I go out to some touch-up paint web sites, they class it as Cypress Pearl Metallic. (I guess that means green or olive)
