Default bluetooth phone problems treo 650

I have a 2006 LS 430 and a Verizon treo 650. It is compatable but everyone complains that my voice sounds distant and soft. I have turned the volume up on my phone with little success. Is my bluetooth system malfunctioning ? Any suggestions? Araesq

if you're going through the car, then the volume control on the phone will not do anthying for you since you're going through the MIC on the car.

Try talking closer, or point your head up toward where the mic is on the car. On my 04, it's up on the roof by the reading light. Or, turn up the volume adjustment on the car (not the radio volume ****) and try that as well.

In my experience, people hear better when I talk toward the mic of the car.

Also, pending on the firmware of your treo, there has been updates made to improve the phone sound quality, check out palm's website for more info.
