NAV programming while driving

NAV programming while driving
hello,
does anyone have information on how to get the NAV system programmable while driving? I read about the touchscreen touching sequence but don't think this is a good idea since it has to be done everytime you start driving. isn't there a cable to be cut in order to solve this problem (speed signal cable)?
thanks.

There is a white/violet striped wire behind the nav screen that is used to deliver speed information to the nav system. When this wire is switched off, the nav thinks you aren't moving and allows programming. Then you switch the wire back on, and all is good.
All that aside, I eventually gave up on it. Why? Because the wire is behind the nav screen, and the whole thing would have to be taken apart to reach it. Not something I want to risk. On some of the other Lexus cars like the GS, the speed wire goes through a kick panel so it can be accessed there. Unfortunately it appears that this one does not.
