I must say that the 3LS did its job of continuing the tremendous LS hitting streak or rather homerun streak. Even though with only 290hp, it was always near quickest in class. THe interior was the grandest of any Lexus. The ride is classis LS. The looks, while those of us that DIDN'T buy the car may not have been head over heels over it, those that DID buy it seemed to like it as it was a sales champ a few years.

Amazingly, this huge car had the LOWEST CD (drag) of any production car and clearly lowest in the true luxury segment. What an accomplishment.

Of course it was not perfect, no car is. It did however, do its job of creating the FLAGSHIP HALO a luxury brand sorely NEEDS to compete in this segment. It also either won or placed in the top 3 in all reviews.

As we move to the 4LS, let us take a moment and give the current 3LS a big

Well said. Rest in peace 3LS. Alot of people who don't know much about the LS may confuse the 3LS with a 2 and sometimes a 1 but the 3 was a magnificent car, leaps and bounds over the 2 and arguably one of the best vehicles ever built. It has been my first Lexus and I'm sold. The reliability, value, features, prestige, build quality, appearance all were well thought out and only got better with time. Certainly the 4LS will never be confused with previous gen LSes so in a way this is farewell to the general overall LS style that captivated buyers ever since it first dropped in 1990.

I'm really excited for the LS line given the pics and reviews of the 4LS, if any vehicle is good enough to outdo the magnificent 3LS, we have it in the 4LS. Lookout Benz, BMW, Audi because the unbeatable just got better!

Thank you to the LS for raising the standard even higher. Of course, you'll still be around...like in our garages!

The last LS to be a single body type and model, representing everything that is the best of Lexus in one flagship vehicle. With the new LS Series being born, hopefully the cachet and recognition of the entire LS lineage will rise even more.
