Unhappy Resetting The Brake Wear Indicator

I have a 2003 LS 430 I replaced the disc brake pads a fter the brake wear indicator went on , it refuses to stop blinking. Can anyone tell me how to reset this light. I bought a obd code reader but it dosent help.bif83@optonline.net

Brake wear indicatorscannot be resetted. They cut the wire when pads wear thin thus setting the light off. They have to be replaced to be reset.

Hello, I have a 2002 LS430 ultra . Does any one know if you replace your pads before the light comes on do you have to replace the wear indicator & reset the system. Thank you Mike

Ditto. Once the indicator is worn it need to be replaced. If the light never came on you are okay.
