It Smells Like Rotten Eggs....the Check Engine Came On A Evac Code Came Up ,,anyone Had This Problem....a Friend Of Mine Said Its The Evac Cannister Is Bad..........any Idea?

Hmmm, I recently picked up an 02 LS and when I drive it hard and park it, it smells just like any of the manual transmission sportscars I've owned used to. Meaning a burning clutch/burning plastic smell. Only with the LS I noticed last night in the headlight beams that once parked there seemed to be some white smoke visible along with it. Not sure where that's coming from but it worries me. Engine temp fine, everything fine, no warning lights.

Rotten Egg smell usually has something to do with bad cats.

the rotten eggs smell comes from crappy gas. it happens to my LS when i use 7-11 gas.

i only use mobil 93 in car.........what about the evac code?

Rotten egg smell can also come from high sulfur gas (which we do have down here), but generally a cat gone bad can cause this smell.
