In the instruction manual, it says that people with pacemakers should not go within 6 or so feet of the car doors because the car emits some sort of frequency that may be harmful to people with pacemakers.
Does this also apply once you are inside the car? Also, if the car is started normally (by putting the key in the ignition), does that disable the harmful waves?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When I was talking to the service advisor at my local Lexus dealership, he said that the frequency that sends out the signal to the key gets turned off if you directly put the smart key in the ignition. If you start the car without the key directly in the ignition, then it'll still send out the signal. I know this only because I was asking about another technical question.

Thank you. Service Advisors aren't the smartest of all people, so I'm not really sure if I can trust them. Can anyone else confirm this?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
