I dont have a LS but my daily driver is a 98 GS 300. I have a modded 98 GS 400 that I use as a weekend car along with my 89 monster supra. Lastly I also have a 06 GX470 which is the family truck

Yeah, your Supra must be so fun to drive. I love driving mine, but I'm thinking about selling it, keyword: thinking. My Uncle just bought a GX470, I didn't think I was going to like it, but it was actually pretty roomy and the ride was nice.

I'm going to get rid of my Celica, I'm just thinking if I want to get rid of it for either a 2IS or a 3GS, I still use my LS for a weekend/guest hauler, along with the Supra.

Why buy a car and drive it only during weekends?
If u owned a Lamborghini then I can see that, but with an LS430?
This is the same thing as buy a fast car but drive it like a school bus.

That's a good question, I like the LS430 so much that I want to save it for the people that are my guests, don't get me wrong, I call it a weekend car but that doesn't mean that I save it only for the weekends. I actually do drive it a whole lot. I've owned the car for only 4 months, but I put a 8000 miles on it, and I bought it with only 12 miles on the odometer. The Supra on the other hand really is a weekend car because I don't want to just leave it anywhere, I do have a LoJack on it but I make sure that I don't keep it one area because of the money I paid for it, it's not that cheap to find the pearl that I found. I'll still have to find a car to replace the "daily driver".

When I do get a LS460L, it will most likely be a weekend only car, because that's when I take family members &/or friends out.
During weekdays, I mostly drive by myself with not more than one passenger, so all I need is a smaller 2-door

I don't have any pics of the Supra yet, although, when I get it back from the shop, I plan to take a lot of it. It's going in there to get some body work and some engine work done.

LexArazzo, I completely agree with you. That would be a great decision, and that was the reason why I was doing it too. Until I got home, someone did a hit and run when my Celica was on the street I found out that a few kids were racing, hit my car then ran off without telling anyone and no one caught their plates because they said it was a brand new car. Now, I'm stuck and I'm waiting for my insurance agent to call me. I guess my LS will be my commuter for the next few days until I know what's going on. I'm mad.

GX is what I drive mostly during the week (only 1.25 miles to work and 5 miles to day care). LS and Supra are more likely to be driven on weekends. LS if the family and I are out, or the Supra if I'm looking to meet up with some fast bikes or fast cars. Both the Supra and the LS are perfectly fine for daily driving, but I like to keep 'em clean and I don't want to let them sit outside in the parking lot and under the sun just so I can drive the short trip to work. Hence, they generally stay in the garage except for weekends.

I'm still trying to think about if I want a IS350 or a GS350, I need help on choosing that car, that's why I'm wondering what type of car everyone has for a commuter.

2002 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon... reliable, but built like crap. But hey, I'm only an entry level engineer, midwest can't see me in an LS430.
