LS430 average MPG

another new yorker here.
and I understand your pain ... I get 10-11 mpg as well, with city driving. Avg speed is 13 mph.
Trying stopping and going every block.
I check all the 'vitals' often, tire pressure, oil change, blah blah ...and I still get crap mileage.
On my out of city trip, I do get 18.5 mpg, cruising on the highway at 80 mph.
Cant complain much when you want to drive a luxury car. Gotta pay to play like the big boys.

nice picture!
My mom usually gets about 16-18mpg in the LS driving back and forth from Rye to penn plaza down on 34th street in NYC. When i drive i usually get <11mpg because she drives at 55, i drive at 110...lol.
I just changed the intake filter, wow it was black! Well now that i changed the filter, i bet she will get better gas mileage and ill get worse...because more air means more fuel, woot!
So with our driving styles, i voted in between our mileage, at 13-15mpg.

I work about 10 miles away from home, about 6 of it is about 35mph and the last 4 is highway (65-75mph), I get about 16-19mpg. I took a long trip to see family, all highway and about 65-85mph all the way down, I got about 24-25mpg. So it's about the same as most people get

My 03 always gets right about 20 mpg average per tank. The average speed on the computer runs about 36-38 mph. On our last highway trip of 600 miles I got right at 25 mpg driving 75 mph. I am using Premium that has 10% ethenol. I have no doubt that using straight gas would add another 2-3 mpg.
