Default new here.....w/ an 02 UCF31

Been a member of CL for a while, but haven't posted.
I just picked up an 02 Celsior about 2 weeks ago.
I'm from Hawaii, but currently live in Japan.
I brought my 00 Odyssey from Hawaii w/ me to Japan, and drove it in Japan for about 3 years.
I just traded the Odyssey, known as a Lagreat over here, plus some yen for the Celsior.

It's a UCF31, Silver w/ black leather, navi, Mark Levinson, and air sus.
got it two weeks ago, stock.

So far I've added the DataSystems AirSus Controller, and a set of polished AutoCouture Magnifiques.

I'll post up some pics shortly.
Here are some pics of the van I traded. Was hard to part with but the dealer said that he'd ship it out of prefecture for me, so I wouldn't have to see it on the roads.

Thanks for the compliment on the Ody.
It took about 2 years to get it all done.
4Way digital air suspension setup.
15inch flip down, PS2, etc.......
it was fun.

Here are a few pics of the Celsior.
Nothing special yet.
just the air sus controller and wheels.
But I like it.

I drive at this height.
F5 R3.

very nice! although as a general problem on the LS, lip size is not enough. and i think your car would look even better if you drop the front a bit more

I agree.. an inch further drop in the front would be just right. (about an inch..)

I agree........
next wheels will have a deeper lip.
AND
the front does need to go down a little more.
But instead of lowernig w/ the controller, I'm going to add the YouZealand SS (Super Stroke) Kit. It lowers the front about 1 1/4 inch w/o affecting ride at all. W/ that, and the F set at 5, I should be good.
The SS Kit is good for both air suspension LS's as well as normal spring suspesion LS's.

Love the wheels.....18" or 19"?
Very nice clean & subtle look.
Are the mud gaurds a factory option?

Sup, the van is good, I still have it. Once I get a chance to pick up a Lexus, I'll be there. Debating if I should go air, or just springs. Don't want to spend the money on air if I am going to get a Lexus in the future. We shall see..........

ex-r.........you're going to want to go air w/ the van. The ody's wheel base is so long that w/ just lowering springs, you will find yourself scraping all over the place in Hawaii. Even at places like Ala Moana.
Having the height adjustability at the push of a button w/ the air, is definately a must.
you can build yourself a good system for the Ody for about $3K.
HKS coilovers for the van go for $1.5K.
If you think about having to repaint side skirts, fix cracked bumpers, etc..... the air is not too much more.

when i was on springs, i cracked my sides twice, and repainted my bumper about 3 times.
After getting air.
Never.
