Default 2004 LS430 Briarwood Pearl on stock 17"

Picked this up 2 weeks ago. One owner, 175k miles, everything works and runs flawlessly (except the woofers in rear deck and front doors which are being replaced soon).

Any love for the 17" Mercedes look alike wheels? The seller just installed new tires so I'm torn on what to do but also, I'm digging the look.

Default How do I fit 20s with low offset with huge stock calipers?

Kinda newbie so forgive me but with stock 18s, it looks like there’s no room for the face of a rim to be pushed back anywhere with a caliper that big behind it. So how do people throw there’s deep dish, 10.5 inch wide wheels on their LS430’s?? Do I have to get new brake calipers and rotors? Buy aftermarket, shorter control arms maybe? Change suspensions? Not really sure where to begin so any help would be appreciated

First, you'll need high disk to clear the front calipers. Rears you can run low disk to have bigger lips. What wheels you choose plays a roll also.

For those who are lowered what coilovers do you use ? And how did you fit wheels?

my 20s rub already at stock suspension. I wanna tuck the wheels a little but worried about rubbing. Does it ride better on a set of coils vs stock?

Where do they rub? What are your wheel and tire specs?
If you're rubbing at stock height it won't get better if you go lower

245/40r20 tire specs. my only issue is really the back rubbing when i hit bumps/ramps. i'm running 15mm spacers in the back which definitely adds unnecessary rubbing (just did it to match the front 15mm spacers needed to clear the calipers). but I feel i'll still rub without

never ran a car with coilovers so wasn't sure what difference it would make, would like to lower it a little if possible. Tucking would be nice, i mostly rub on the fenders cause of the spacers. Not sure much about wheel specs and what to get to do that

Post some pics to show how your wheels sit and where they rub
