You have couple thousand to play on that. I think you could get it for $23-24. Mainstream LS buyers, 50 year old executives or a retiree, is not going to buy a car with purple leather.
Looks like it has been on the lot since the end of november.
I just got a '01 Ultra Lux with chrome 17's from Houston for $27 Purchased 12/30/06. 58k miles black/black, 8 out 10.

Good news: It's from a dealer, it's probably been checked out since they wouldn't want to risk their reputation. Bad news: they'll want a premium for just that, not to mention additional fees and charges ie. tax, registration (paying them $200 to have a guy walk to the DMV ) The benefit you have is that like jonrago said, who the heck wants purple leather? IMO it's much harder and costly to replace an interior, if purple isn't your cup of tea move on, if it is, don't show your cards, make em take 3 grand off cause your "wife hates the color but you need a car" Good luck either way.

I would pay more for a car that never saw salt over a car that might have rust issues with exhaust, brake calipers, etc. A southern lex will run forever and will never deterorate from corrosion. I had a GS430 from up north, Chicago, it seemed like the weather was tough on it. That's why I stayed south on my LS.

I actually like that color. Looks better in person though. Looks clean as well... I would try to knock a few K's off the price, and use the unusual interior color as a reason (as stated by another member above). Unless your the type that hates dark interiors, then you should consider it if all checks out.
Other then that, it looks great.
