I have used a Moto RAZR from Verizon in my 05 LS430 with NAV/ML for past
8 months and it works very well with the NAV screen and pausing the sound system.
The only pain with Verizon, as has been mentioned elsewhere in this forum, is that Verizon disables Bluetooth data protocol so you can't get your phone book into the car unless you subscribe to their VCAST feature. I worked around it by getting the phone book into a PC phone book utility on a laptop, buying a bluetooth adapter for the laptop, and then syncing the laptop with the car's bluetooth. You have to send each phone book entry separately with this scheme but if you have a small phone book like I did, it only took about 15 minutes.

Actually, it's a mixture of Verizon AND Lexus being the problem. Verizon purposely disabled the "OBEX Profile" which is the protocol used to transfer data via Bluetooth (pictures + phone book entries). Lexus didn't allow a way to manually enter in phone "books"; it all has to be transferred via Bluetooth.

![Question](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Kind of a related question (I hope!):
Obviously, it is possible to manually enter numbers into the 1-Touch section of the Telephone screen, independent of the Phone Book loading issue, but I can't find a way to edit those entries after-the-fact.
I'd like to be able to add descriptive names associated with those numbers, because even if you do the well-known Nav Override hack, when the vehicle is in motion, the numbers on the 1-Touch screen get blanked-out, so you have to rely completely on your own memory as to which button corresponds to which previously-entered number! My guess is that if there is a way to add names to the numbers, then at least the names will show while driving.
If the only way to get names associated with the numbers is to first load the Phone Book up via Bluetooth, then I need to get that working! In that case, I'm still at the mercy of DDickHut (see my previous posting in this thread)!
