Default Loving my new 2004 LS430

I picked up a 2004 LS430 on Jan 2, 2007. I had my neighbor buy it for me from the Manheim Auction. It was a lexus financial lease return with all lexus service records. My only requirements for him in the bidding was NAV, ML and chrome rims. After the auction he called me a said that we won the blue one that I liked from the pre-auction pictures. I say sweet and ask him how long beofre I can get the car. The next day he drives up with my car and it looks sweet. I get in the front seat and immediately notice that it has the controls for the air suspension. Is this an Ultra I think? I jump out and pull down the backseat armrest and there are all of the controls for the massager and all of the other Ultra goodies. This is a frickin Ultra My neighbor had no clue that this was an ultra or what that really meant. He buys so many cars for people but he only gets what they want. He doesn't need to know all the details since he is only an order taker. We seal the deal and the car is mine. I love it.

It had 36,000 miles. I paid $36,800 + tax, title and license which in CA is another 10%. I have some pics but they are too big to attach. How do I do it?

You can downsize them with a photo editor (I use HP Image Editor), or you can upload them to the gallery and link directly to them in the thread.

OH what a pleasant surprise! Do you have radar cruise. Oh man your lucky. I was slobbering over a blue 2004 in my school parking lot the other day. It'd be my second choice from white. Thats really saying somthin. CONGRATS! Is it the 18 in chromes. Those wheels are hot.

I LOVE my 2004 LS430 Ultra (I've had it less than 2 weeks). Best car I've ever purchased. While my 2006 Z06 was "fun" the LS430 is truly a solid work of engineering. Everyone I've taken out in it loves the car, and the wife wants to drive it all the time.

Sound system is wonderful, and the bells and whistles like integrated voice command and bluetooth make life a whole lot easier.

Getting Jambas is now twice as good as it was before!

Why? I know nothing of this, so don't take my question the wrong way.

This past summer, my neighbor's father drove up in an 06 dark blue LS with either a beige or ivory interior. The car was stunning. I mean jaw-dropping beautiful. I always thought I would only consider gray or silver in an LS (with black interior), but I were to get an LS today, I'd have to take a close hard look at the dark blue.

Now, like I said before, TTIWWP. Come on already.
