Default Replacing stock air struts with regular sport package struts w/universalairbags

I am planning on removing my stock air struts and replacing them with a custom sport packge strut with universal airbags. Is it possible for me to do this? Ive looked at the lexus parts book and it seems to look like it would work. Has anyone ever done this before?

#4 on the left is the stock air strut while #4 on the right is the sport suspension strut. Looking at this diagram it looks like all I would need are the sport struts and the upper strut mount and having a universal air bag where the spring should go.....

any opinons, thoughts, warnings, about me trying to have this done?

Question: Why would you want to do that? because they're worn out? or do you want better handling?

I wanted to go with the datasystem air controller, but it doesnt lower the car enough. So im planning on installing an aftermarket air suspension set up.

If you search around..you might find a bracket that will give you an extra INCH of lowering the factory set-up with the Datasystem.....

My bandwidth is limited so i cannot stay longer to find the link for you..
