Talking Coolest hidden features of your LS430?

I am curious as to what "hidden" features LS430 owners think are the best; features that most owners don't know about that are deep within the manual where few dare venture...

For me, I'm not sure yet since I'm still learning

My favorite "hidden" feature is the sliding drawers under the driver/passenger seats. Great for my CCW! I dropped some of that non-slip drawer stuff in there and my handgun doesn't slip around. Great Lexus feature IMO! Wish my GX and IS had them too!

Very cool! Yah I found those when I was detailing the car. I have a CCW as well, and you're right - excellent place for a handgun.

Has anyone seen the video of the rednecks following the guy and his girlfriend in the BMW? It's PRICELESS (for those who carry).

I also like the fact you can go to lexus and get the windows/sunroof to open while holding the unlock button on your remote.

You know, I could do this on my 98 GS 300 too! Lexus has had that in all their cars for quite some time!

I like the abiltiy to touch the brake while going down a hill and the tranny will downshift and slow the car,, helps hold the car at a steady speed,, we live in a very hilly area,, seems there is a max speed limit the car will do this but have not figured out yet,, know that it works in the 30 and low 40 mph area,,

also like the cars ability to hold me in position at a traffic light without using the brake while setting on a hill (heading up),,

I've actually had some really strange beavior with my transmission, but I don't know if it's just the way the LS430 behaves. Every once and awhile it will take a good 2-3 seconds to downshift to accelerate, even though I hit the gas hard. Anyone else had this problem?

Moogy, mine is very quick to react rolling down the road or taking away from a traffic light,, a couple times it jumped out almost too quick and wife started yelling at me about jack rabbit starts,,

her VW Turbo Bug has that lag and when your use to the quick the slow is a pain,,

I adjust the nav voice guidance from the screen menus... You can even turn her off..

I know about the **** under the dash to control the volume of the chime.

And as for the jackrabbit starts? Try the snow ECT setting when in stop and go traffic.. it smooths things out quite a bit.

I like the fact that I can control the amount of doors that open with regard to the smart key. i have mine set to open all of them, very helpful when one is traveling with others. To Moogy and OBX trucker, I find that the storage drawers are way too small for anything to fit besides extremely small items, did you modify the compartment at all?

Is this near the smart access key control / reset for the tire pressure sensor?
