My 04 UL has only 27k miles. In Vietnam, most of the time I use motorbikes 'cause the streets there are always crowded, parking a car is even harder.

The 2nd generation GS300 (98-05) comes to mind as well as being just about the most troublefree car Lexus has ever made. I find the LS430 to look much classier and more substantial.

This thread would be even more helpful if the owners with high miles would mention what significant repairs or maintanance was done during their ownership. I'd be curious to see how many miles some owners have gone before timing belt/water pump replacement. We know the engines and transmissions for the most part are indestructable.

2006 LS430 black/black 114,000 miles.

Bought it with 96K. Cleaned mirror switch, cleaned cabin intake air sensor, swapped air filter for K&N unit and installed VAIS sound system.

At initial purchase changed timing belt and water pump. Changed rear differential fluid, trans fluid and radiator fluid. $600 total.

Needs to have front clip repainted due to rock chips.
