can't believe I'm coming up on the 117. We tend to see low miles, so nice to see 268. What was the highest we ever saw on this thread, anyway? Any 500s, 400s, 300s? Pretty sure 300s....

Is it possible to have transmission problems on the LS430? I know anything is possible, but I guess likely, rather?

p.s. you know what's crazy? My temp guage, the needle is in the EXACT same spot as yours. EXACT.

Mine is very close, it just lines up exactly with the marker. Has never deviated under any driving (or extended idle with A/C on) conditions in 120,000 miles.

Yeah, my temperature gauge ('01) sits right at that line no matter the scenario...after it comes up to temp of course. I'm surprised to see that some of them go slightly above the line marker.

2002 LS430 that I bought 2 weeks ago - 229866, and even gets decent gas mileage considering it's a v8, better than the GS300 I had before.
I freaking love this car..

Currently 257,076 on my 2003 LS430. The Wisconsin winters are starting to take it's toll on the body (small rust on left rear quarter panel and front right passenger door, as well as the hood around the grill). The interior is perfect. Carpet is clean and the leather has no rips.

Absolutely love this car.

My goal is 400,00 miles. I'll have to put in a 4th timing belt if I do.First replacement at 109,000 (before I bought the car) and the next at 225,000.

200k on the LS? Ehh, no biggie. Having to take a good picture in less than 60 seconds while driving 65mph in 102* weather? IMPRESSIVE! lol

Bought my gold 2005 LS430, came with 43,000 miles, with dynamic cruise control in 2011. I took several 2,500-mile trips driving this car. The DCC saved me. However, this sweet beauty was rear-ended and totaled when it had 144K miles in 2017. I am now looking for a 460L and found a few good ones, but the prices were just higher than I would willing to pay for. I am further surprise to see so few of them had DCC in LS460 until 2013. Now, even Honda Civic and minivans have it. ha

Now up to 415,000 miles and only needed to change O2 sensors. Stopped changing the timing belt over 200,000 miles ago. Engine is solid but plenty of other things have failed, sound system for one. I think I got my money's worth

I've driven this 2001 LS430 several times in the past couple of months before taking full delivery of it last Wednesday. It had right around 197,850 miles on it the first time I drove it. As of just a few days ago, it had 198,133 miles. It now has around 198,250 miles.

This pic was taken a day or two before our trip out to the Orlando airport to pick up our son who is on a short leave from the Marines before heading out to Norway for the next 6-18 months.
