I have a white one, too. 93K. Just yesterday, I kept looking at mine thinking the same thing. It seemed a bit of an optical illusion because of the way the fenders turn in. i stood along the sides, above, and got on the ground. I did not really notice unusual wear, but I wasn't looking really close. You may be right and I might have to examine a little more closely on mine.

Bought on Jan 31 2018 with 91k miles.
Now, 4 years later on Jan 31 2022 she has 132k miles and runs sweet.
Needs the air-con fixing (I have a used low-mileage compressor), the rear passenger door mechanism replacing (I have a used replacement part) and the front parking sensors replacing (I have all new ones).
Personally, I need for my back to heal (trapped nerve) so I can do the work but until then, I just drive her. :-)

^ regarding my wheels and camber, I did get an alignment of all four wheels when I bought tires 4 years ago. After 20,000 miles the tread wear is even. I rotate them every 5K or so. In my garage the car sits next to my daily, a VW Passat, and they both have about the same degree of camber in the rear wheels, if that means anything. . .

2003, 163233 miles, needs both outside folding window motors (living fine without them), passenger lock actuator - works great when its 12 degrees but just wiggles when its warm - I figure a split nylon worm gear in the motor (also can live fine without it), and thinking of adding one of the CarPlay touch screens for my free Apple Music and nav/maps/Waze...but then again I live in Brooklyn and where am I really going. I'm starting to detect a passenger rear side 'clunk' when I hit a manhole cover or bump, so it's probably time for rear struts, but nothing major. Amazing car and I will keep it another 20 years.

Default Mine is a 05

My 05 LS430 has 132,300 miles I got it at 122,200 miles a year ago no real problems so far except my steering is weird like it likes to go gradually to the right anyone ever experienced this? Also my compass decided to go coco so I have to get that re calibrated other than that great

We bought our 2005 with 36K miles and it now has 225K miles. Still drives and runs beautifully. It is truly a testament to fine build and engineering quality. It does need a few door actuators but we are unwilling to put the money in for those at this point.

Recently bought a 2016 LS 460L AWD for long distance trips.

Thumbs up Current KLM 138,000

Bought in 2017 with 85000KLM from private hands and got rid of infinity m37 2012 because of the choppy ride.
Replace steering column motor, trunk struts, brake pads. (still has original rotors not warped yet)
Air condition leak eventually traced to rubber hose (used for $35 e-bay)
Best car I have owned Quiet no rattles or rust. Light interior like new no rips or wear.
Has the standard suspension so no issues with shocks.
Investigating changes in shift pattern, Not as smooth as it was last year. more noticeable when putting in drive from neutral and gear changes.
This is a 2006 model and according to the serial number should not be plagued with the capacitor failure in the ECM.
Not noticeable when in snow mode (a 2nd gear start) Normal or sport mode there is a hesitation from the normal creep forward when in drive to when torque is applied by the transmission.
Only a very slow application of the throttle will provide a smooth takeoff now.
The quality of components and material is evident (had a E430 Mercedes 1998 what a piece of junk. The number of thing that went wrong with it 56K K.L.M. Yikes)

Parking sensor quick fix. WD 40 spray and rub in with a rag and it will replace the moisture.
I have had to do this several times and all is good again.
Ordered a new one and it is still in the box after 2 years
Internal failure in the rubber Hose Low side was my problem with slow leak of compressor fluid.
Used one cost me $35.00

The ride is very comfortable and being 6'3' tall and about 250 lbs, the large seats are great compared to my wife's 2013 LS460 Sport tight bucket seats, which I cannot stand. I find my height is cramped in all the LS460's, but I have plenty of head room in my LS430. Maintenance has all been at the dealer, with replacement of all 4 strut-shocks and a catalytic converter, being the major repairs. Love the floating suspension ride, which is helped by the 18" cushy Michelin tires, especially compared to my wife's tight suspension and 19" wheels Her Michelin tires last 20,000 miles at most, and mine last 45-50,000 miles every time. I float to work and back everyday, and love the climate control and entertainment system. Had bluetooth added to play music from my IPhone. I pay $ 150 every two years for a new destination disk, which is in some ways moreuseful than phone map apps. Friends love the reclining backseats with massagers and heat or a/c in them, aswell as window shades. Wish Lexus still made this big roomy floating ride car, because I'd buy it again just as it is. That's my story. All the best, FloatRider

Did you replace the timing belt and water pump at 270? I have a 2004 LS430 at 264K and am trying to determine if I should change the timing belt at 270K. I changed at 90K and 180K. Let me know how you handled.

Ofcourse, being located in Vancouver BC helps preserve the car...just saw an 01' here on Kaua'i that also is parchment crystal, but it's clearly an island specimen...paint looked way more faded, the sea salt probably doesn't help.

Lady Luna, look at those 17s...only had to replace one rim following a hard impact onto a curb...don't disable your VSC when it's raining and 38 degrees out haha, especially if you are driving like you stole it (which i was at the time). Silly me.

I’m almost at 147,000 miles on my 2005 LS430. I don’t drive a whole lot these days but I drive it more than my other cars.

Hit a milestone today, 270K miles! Running stronger and smoother than ever with some front end maintenance and new ignition coils. The new coils seem to have helped MPG as well. In honor of the milestone I'm gonna treat her to a full interior and exterior detailing since the weather here is becoming nice again. Love this car.
